Die achte Ausgabe der STADT NACH ACHT steht unter dem Motto »Zeitgeist & the Future of Nightlife«. In historischer Kontinuität waren und sind Räume des Nachtlebens zum einen Orte des zeitgenössischen »sui generis«, Geburtsstätten von (Populär-)Kultur — und damit seit jeher Räume der Diskontinuität. Zum anderen sind sie Ausgangspunkte und Motoren gesellschaftlicher Transformation: Von der Awareness für – und der Akzeptanz von unterschiedlichen Lebensstilen und Geschlechterrollen bis hin zu progressiver Gesundheitspolitik.
Auch im Jahr 2025 bietet unsere Konferenz mit über 200 nationalen und internationalen Speaker:innen und rund 50 Panels genau die Plattformen, um aktuellen Trends und Entwicklungen in Clubkultur, Nachtökonomie, Gesundheit und Sicherheit sowie der Nachtstadtentwicklung nachzuspüren. Nicht zuletzt geht es um die Reflexion von Möglichkeiten und Bedingungen für ein sicheres, sozial inklusives, kulturell diverses und wirtschaftlich wie ökologisch nachhaltiges Nachtlebens in unseren Städten.
The motto of the eighth edition of STADT NACH ACHT is ‘Zeitgeist & the Future of Nightlife’. In historical continuity, nightlife spaces have always been places of contemporary ‘sui generis’, birthplaces of (popular) culture – and thus spaces of discontinuity. On the other hand, they are starting points and drivers of social transformation: from awareness and acceptance of different lifestyles and gender roles to progressive health policy.
In 2025, our conference with over 200 national and international speakers and around 50 panels will continue to offer exactly the right platforms to track current trends and developments in club culture, night-time economy, health, safety and night-time city development. Last but not least, it is about reflecting on the possibilities and conditions for a safe, socially inclusive, culturally diverse and economically and ecologically sustainable nightlife in our cities.
