About
Pamela is a club owner in Berlin for over 25 years. Together with her partner Lars, she ran the club Icon in Prenzlauer Berg for 15 years. Displaced from there by gentrification, both are running the (live)club Gretchen in Kreuzberg since 2011. She is the political spokesperson on the executive board of the Federal Association of Music Venues LiveKomm, part of the supervisory board of Initiative Musik and a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry's general assembly. From 2019 to 2022 she was the chairwoman of the Berlin Clubcommission. She is a trained banker, has a master's degree in communication, political science and film studies and has worked parallel to her club life in media development cooperation for many years - mainly in Africa.
