Philine Edbauer co-founded the #MyBrainMyChoice initiative and runs it as a network and think tank for drug policy reform. The initiative campaigns at the German federal level for the legalization of the drug markets and the decriminalization of use. Philine Edbauer authors the weekly newsletter “Drogenpolitik Briefing” and coordinates a collaborative project against the stigma. As an area studies graduate (M.A.), she has specialized in the “war on drugs” as a government tool for autocratization and strategies of resistance. She is a member of the German expert network Schildower Kreis.
