Hi, I'm Uwe Abel, actually a businessman and medical product consultant. At the age of 60, I started a new chapter in my life. Since June 2024, I have been co-owner of Musicland Spandau. At the age of 15, almost 50 years ago, I entered Musicland for the first time as a customer. This turned me into a music nerd and collector. We took over Musicland with the aim of preserving one of Berlin's oldest record stores. We, that is Toby, Phillip, Christian and I, want to bring vinyl back to life and are therefore organising small concerts and special music events. I am responsible for purchasing and try to discover new labels and music. Supporting the independent scene is very important to me.
