Victoria's been interested in psychoactive substances for a long time, particularly in terms of on-site harm reduction and safer use work in Berlin. Starting in 2022 as a volunteer for Sonar - Safer Nightlife Berlin, she quickly established herself as a leading expert on the scientific aspects of psychoactive substances, including their chemistry and pharmacodynamics. Her background in material sciences, chemistry and physics has been a significant asset in her work. In 2025, she joined sidekicks.berlin as an on-site public health consultant to professionalise her career in public health, adding safer sex and HIV/STI prevention to her portfolio. She also created substance information materials and worked as a freelance speaker and consultant on substance use matters.
