GBL and its influence on European club scenes

Triggered by two deaths in recent years, waves of heated discussion with emotional highs and objective lows of calm continue to roll through the club scene. Anti-G campaigns by clubs are often helpless expressions of the consequences of using this substance, which then tend to crash against the hard rock of reality due to the futility of their efforts to ban G from clubs. What is the situation in other club scenes in Europe? What experiences do Safer Nightlife projects from various European cities report? And have certain strategies proven effective in getting the problematic (mixed) consumption of this substance under control in nightlife?
