Marko Verdenik has over ten years of experience in the field of harm reduction and has coordinated the Slovenian Drug Checking Service since 2018. He oversees sample collection with integrated social interventions, database management, and training for multiple national services. Marko is responsible for communicating results to users, conducting risk assessments as a member of the Slovenian Early Warning System, and evaluating the national drug checking service. He also manages media communication and serves on the board of the Slovenian Association of NGOs for Drugs and Addiction, contributing to advocacy efforts and the development of national drug policy.
