Club culture activist, researcher and publicist from Tbilisi, Georgia, co-founder of Hydrash and Wings of Desire – prominent queer party and festival series that take place at the renowned techno club BASSIANI. Co-founder of Equality Movement, the region’s largest LGBTQI organization and Creative Collective Spectrum, a union of artists, researchers, and publicists dedicated to exploring and elaborating the queer/feminist thoughts and practices. The winner of the EU Prize for Journalism in the category of Best Social Profile/Best Author, Giorgi’s works in the fields of music, writing, and club culture interplay with each other to study and present the social issues from the non-dominant cultural perspectives.
