When The Music Starts

Club closures and the »crisis of clubbing« are on everyone’s lips. But is nightlife really in decline – or are we witnessing the rise of a new era? In line with the conference motto »Zeitgeist & the Future of Nightlife« this panel shifts the focus to fresh beginnings: newly opened clubs will showcase their concepts and share – with some luck – their success stories. On top officials and the designated operator will present an an example for a municipally tendered club space, offering insights into how urban policy can actively shape the future of club culture.
